Let me start with this: Pisang Peak Climbing changed how I see the world. I’m not a pro climber. I had never been above 5,000 meters before this. But I signed up, packed my bag, and found myself facing one of Nepal’s most exciting trekking peaks.
At 6,091 meters (19,983 ft), Pisang Peak is part of the Annapurna region. It’s popular because it gives beginners a taste of mountaineering with ropes, crampons, and all but without the extreme danger of bigger climbs like Everest or Manaslu.
In 2023 alone, over 1,200 climbers attempted Pisang Peak (Nepal Tourism Board). Most came in October and November. Peak season with clear skies and dry trails.
