Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp was my first time walking deep into the mountains, and I loved every moment. I chose to go in October, and the weather was just right. The sky was blue, the air was cool, and I could see big snowy peaks all around me. Autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) are the best times for this trek. The days are dry, and the views are super clear. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, over 30,000 people trek to Annapurna Base Camp every year, and most go during these two seasons.
The trek was not too long. It took me 8 days to go up and down. I walked through quiet forests, green fields, and small villages. I stayed in simple tea houses where people were kind and the food was warm. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds and saw the sun touch the snowy peaks.
What made it even better was the weather. No rain, no snow, just clear skies and cool air. It made walking easy and safe. I met other happy trekkers along the way, and we all agreed that this was the perfect time to be here.
If you are thinking about trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, pick spring or autumn. The weather is better, the trail is safer, and the views are stunning. I came back home with joy in my heart and stories to tell forever.
